All purchases made with BHBD are FINAL SALE and CANNOT be EXCHANGED nor RETURNED with the some exceptions.

MAKE/PROCESSING TIMES:

 

  • All jewelry created by By Hand, By Dana. was Handmade by Dana with love & care!

  • “In Stock” items have already been made before hitting the .com. 

  • "In Stock" jewelry will ship out within 1-2 business days after order was placed.

  • Most Custom Request take 3-4 business days for me to have ready. *Make time is subject to change depending on quantity of items in a single order and intricateness of design.

  • See “Custom Request” section below for more information on custom request orders.

  • Make/Processing Time is subject to change during new drops/releases, holidays and/or high volume days.

  • Make/Processing time only includes the time it takes for me to create and pack out an order, this does not include shipping time.

  • For ALL custom orders, payment in full is REQUIRED to be made prior to me starting on your order. Due to the nature of customs, all sales are final on customs request orders.

  • Please be sure to be as detailed as possible when speaking about customs, I want to be sure you’re getting what you asked for.

  • If your custom order needs materials I do not use on the regular, you will be responsible for the cost of: the custom material -- be it (beds, cord, findings etc.) & shipping of custom materials.

  • Being responsible for the cost of the custom material will not lessen the cost of a custom request nor will exclude you from being responsible for delivery cost if order needs to be shipped.

SHIPPING/DELIVERY METHODS

  • I do ship to U.S & International Countries.

  • All orders ship with USPS: Signature Conformation and will require a signature at the time of delivery.

  • For U.S Orders - Please allow orders 3-5 business days to deliver after order has shipped (standard USPS shipping timeline).

  • For International Orders - Please allow orders 12-15 business days to deliver after order has shipped (standard USPS shipping timeline).

  • International Orders will NOT require a signature, due to it not being an option with my carrier of choice.

  • If you are expecting your order to be delivered, please be sure you or someone is home to receive and sign for at the time of delivery.​

 

LOCAL DELIVERIES:

  • Local in person deliveries must be communicated with me prior to choosing this as a delivery method at checkout. Local delivery is open for those living within 10-15 miles of my location.

  • If you choose local delivery at checkout and you are NOT within the Local Delivery's radius, I will refund your order. You are always welcome to replace your order with the appropriate shipping/delivery method.

SHIPPING CONFIRMATION/TRACKING:

 

  • After your order has been placed, a confirmation email with your order number will be sent to the email that you entered at checkout. 

  • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email via email that contains your tracking information.

  • If you did not receive a confirmation email there could've either been, a typo made when the email was entered in at checkout, the email could of landed in your email's spam/junk folder OR there was a system error.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS:

  • Cancellations can be done anytime before your order ships out. 

  • Once you receive the "Your order has shipped" conformation email with your tracking information, that means your order has been shipped and can no longer be canceled.

  • If you realize that you placed an order with an invalid address, email me BEFORE your order ships out and I will cancel the order and refund you back to your original method of payment. 

  • After your order ships out I am no longer responsible for the invalid address associated with the order as I don’t put billing and shipping information in the system at the time of checkout. The order will arrive to the address that is entered in at checkout. 

  • Any items returned for the wrong address will be issued a refund on the order itself, not shipping.

SIGNED DELIVERIES:

 

  • All orders shipped will require a signature at the time of delivery!

  • If you are expecting your order to be delivered, please be sure you or someone is home to receive and sign for at the time of delivery.

  • Why must a signature be required at the time of delivery? To avoid the risk of lost/stolen packages and to protect you as the supporter and By Hand, By Dana as the company.

  • It is your responsibility as the buyer to know when your order will arrive. You can do that by keeping up to date with the tracking information associated with your order.

DELAYS & LOST/STOLEN PACKAGES:

  • Its unfortunate when it happens but the reality is, delays sometimes do occur. Once my hands are off the package and I hand it off to the carrier, delays are out of my control.

 

  • Keep in mind “Estimated Delivery Dates” are just that, estimations. Things out of my control can/may happen such as delays. If in the event of a delay, please contact the shipping carrier associated with your orders tracking information.

 

  • If you have concerns about your delayed delivery, please contact the carrier to find out more information. If the carrier is not being helpful, then please contact me byhandbydana@gmail.com.

 

  • Lost/Stolen Packages do happen every now and then. To reduce the risk of lost/stolen packages I use  signature conformation shipping for all deliveries due to the nature of the location/environment being out of control.

 

  •  Should I have "Proof of Delivery/Signature Conformation" that lets me know the order was received by you and my responsibility stops there, as I have no control over the environment and location.

 

  • In the event the selected carrier does not show "Proof of Delivery/Signature Conformation", I will be responsible to remake/resend your order. If this is the case please contact me at byhandbydana@gmail.com.

REFUNDS/RETURNS - DAMAGED/WRONG ORDER - & ADDRESS ERRORS/CHANGES.

At this time, due to the nature of my products, all sales are final.

Final Sale=’s No returns, Exchanges or Refunds.

I do however accept refunds in certain cases, see below for details.

 

Refunds will be sent back to the original method of payment:

1.) If you receive a damaged product 

2.) If you receive a incorrect order/item 


3.) Your order is misplaced by USPS during shipment. 

 

OR

4.) An invalid address was entered in at checkout.

 

  • We all make mistakes from time to time so before placing/finalizing an order, make sure to double check your shipping and billing address.

 

  • If you realize that you placed an order with an invalid address, email me BEFORE your order ships out and I will cancel the order and refund you back to your original method of payment. 

 

  • After your order ships out I am no longer responsible for the invalid address associated with the order as I don’t put billing and shipping information in the system at the time of checkout. The order will arrive to the address that is entered in at checkout OR the order will return to sender.

 

  • Any items Returned To Sender for the wrong address will be issued a refund on the order itself, not shipping.

 

  • I work extra hard to make sure your items are protected and arrive to you just as it left me! Should shipping damage occur, and your order arrives damaged due to the carrier, I ask that you contact me at byhandbydana@gmail.com within 24 hours of the packages arrival/delivered time.

 

  • Please provide a minimum of (3) photos and a detailed description of the how the package was received and the damage done to the item(s).

 

  • Mistakes happen sometimes, even on my part. Should you have receive a incorrect order or incorrect items in your order, I ask that you contact me at byhandbydana@gmail.com within 24 hours of the packages arrival/delivered time.
