The Evil Eye is said to date back almost thousands of years ago to Ancient Egypt (Kemet). The eye (Eye was a powerful symbol in Ancient Egypt used to ward off evil as it as they believed the eye reflected evil back on-to the evil doer.
It is said that Ancient Greece & Rome were the originators of the symbol but in history we know Ancient Greece & Romans learned ans were inspired from the Greats in Egypt (Kemet) later taking credit for the teachings/discovery.
